Before you start

  • Book an alignment before you start. You need one right after.
  • Soak all the bolts in penetrating oil first.

Steps

  1. Prepare

    • Lift the car and get ready.

  2. Remove the rear

    • Take off the rear.

  3. Remove the front

    • Take off the front.
    Watch this step (7:16–10:39)

  4. Fit the rear

    • Fit and set the rear.

  5. Fit the front

    • Fit and set the front.

  6. Tune the height

    • Set the final height.

Safety first

  • Park on flat ground, set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
  • Never get under a car held up only by a jack. Use jack stands.
  • Let the engine and exhaust cool first.
  • Disconnect the battery before unplugging electrical parts.
  • Wear safety glasses.
  • If something doesn't match your car, stop and ask a shop.
