Before you start

  • Have a helper hold the bumper when it comes off. Lay it on a blanket.

Steps

  1. Open the wheel well

    • Turn the wheel and open the liner.

  2. Undo the screws

    • Undo the screws.
    Watch this step (4:20–6:09)

  3. Remove the bumper and swap

    • Take off the bumper and swap the headlight.

Safety first

  • Park on flat ground, set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
  • Never get under a car held up only by a jack. Use jack stands.
  • Let the engine and exhaust cool first.
  • Disconnect the battery before unplugging electrical parts.
  • Wear safety glasses.
  • If something doesn't match your car, stop and ask a shop.

Follow your part's instructions and your service manual's torque specs.
