Before you start
- Work on a cold engine. Do one plug at a time.
Steps
Pull the coil
- Take off the cover and lift out the coil.
Swap the plug
- Drop in the socket, swap the plug and refit the coil.
Do the rest
- Repeat on the other five.
How to know it worked
- The engine starts and idles smoothly.
- No warning lights.

- Park on flat ground, set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
- Never get under a car held up only by a jack. Use jack stands.
