Steps

  1. Open the housing

    • Undo the clips and lift the cover.

  2. Swap the filter

    • Slide the old filter out and fit the new one.

  3. Close the housing

    • Slide the cover in and clip it.

  4. Open the housing

    • Undo the clips and lift out the old filter.

  5. Fit the new filter

    • Drop it in and close the clips.

Safety first

  • Park on flat ground, set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
  • Never get under a car held up only by a jack. Use jack stands.
  • Let the engine and exhaust cool first.
  • Disconnect the battery before unplugging electrical parts.
  • Wear safety glasses.
  • If something doesn't match your car, stop and ask a shop.
