Steps

  1. Fit the valve simulator

    • Fit the simulator bracket.
    Watch this step (AWE, on a G20 M340i) (1:29–4:26)

  2. Remove the stock system

    • Pry the hangers and pull it.

  3. Fit the new system

    • Hang the sections over the axle.

  4. Tighten it up

    • Line up the rear and tighten it all.

Safety first

  • Park on flat ground, set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
  • Never get under a car held up only by a jack. Use jack stands.
  • Let the engine and exhaust cool first.
  • Disconnect the battery before unplugging electrical parts.
  • Wear safety glasses.
  • If something doesn't match your car, stop and ask a shop.
