- Book an alignment before you start.
Steps
Remove the front strut
- Raise the car, take apart the front corner and remove the strut.
Swap the front spring
- Compress the spring, swap in the new one and refit the strut.
Do the rears
- Fit the rear springs, refit the shock and bump stop, and get an alignment.
How to know it worked
- Car sits level and lower.
- No clunks or rubbing.
- Steering is straight after the alignment.

For:
Safety first
- Park on flat ground, set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
- Never get under a car held up only by a jack. Use jack stands.
- Let the engine and exhaust cool first.
- Disconnect the battery before unplugging electrical parts.
- Wear safety glasses.
- If something doesn't match your car, stop and ask a shop.
Follow your part's instructions and your service manual's torque specs.
